PROJECT
DESCRIPTION
The proposed site for Downeast LNG's facility is in Robbinston,
Maine. We chose this site after a year of research, detailed
site reviews, and careful analysis of environmental, community,
and economic issues. We expect that the permitting phase of
the project will take 1.5 to 2 years, and the construction
period 3 years. The plant should be operational in 2012. The
initial sendout capacity will be 500 mmcfd (thousand standard
cubic feet per day).
